At 850 Softwash & Paver Sealing, we stand behind the quality of our poly and epoxy flake flooring systems. Our Limited Lifetime Warranty is designed to give homeowners long-term peace of mind while clearly defining what is and is not covered.
What "Lifetime" Means
This warranty is valid for as long as the original homeowner owns the property where the floor was installed.
This warranty is non-transferable by default. In some cases, a transferable option may be offered at the time of installation. When transferable, coverage for a new homeowner is limited to a fixed term starting from the original installation date.
What Is Covered
This is a limited warranty that covers defects related to materials and workmanship under normal residential use.
Covered items include:
Adhesion and Delamination
The coating will not peel, lift, or separate from the concrete surface due to installation or material defects.
Hot Tire Pick-Up
The coating will resist peeling caused by hot vehicle tires when used under normal conditions.
UV Stability
When polyaspartic or UV-stable topcoats are installed, the floor is warranted against excessive yellowing or fading caused by sunlight.
What Is Not Covered
To protect against conditions outside of our control, the following are not covered under this warranty:
Concrete and Substrate Issues
Cracks, settling, shifting, heaving, or movement of new or existing concrete slabs are not covered.
Moisture Vapor Transmission
Failures caused by excessive moisture, hydrostatic pressure, or moisture vapor emission rates exceeding industry-accepted limits are excluded.
Abuse, Impact, or Chemical Damage
Damage caused by dropped heavy objects, dragging furniture, sharp impacts, battery acid, brake fluid, solvents, or other harsh or unapproved chemicals is not covered.
Improper Maintenance
Failure to maintain the floor according to provided care instructions, including prompt cleanup of spills and routine cleaning, will void the warranty.
Warranty Requirements and Claim Process
Warranty Registration
The warranty must be registered within 30 days of project completion to be valid.
Inspection and Remedy
If a covered issue is confirmed, 850 Softwash & Paver Sealing will repair or replace only the affected area. Replacement of the entire floor is not guaranteed.
Maintenance and Recoating
Some systems may require periodic clear-coat maintenance to remain under warranty. If applicable, this will be disclosed at the time of installation.
Non-Warranty Inspections
A service or trip charge may apply if an inspection determines the issue is not covered under warranty.
